Submission Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in submitting your work to Wellspring Literary Journal. We are an online literary magazine dedicated to showcasing diverse and vibrant voices. We seek to provide a platform for emerging and established writers alike, and we especially welcome submissions from BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ authors.

1. We encourage writers from all backgrounds and identities to submit their work. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive platform for literary expression.
2. We will review up to three works of creative nonfiction per issue, with a maximum word count of 1500 words for each piece. Alternatively, you may submit up to three literary poems of any length.
3. Some issues have themes, please review the call for submissions for the current issue before submitting your work.
4. Please submit your work in an editable Word document (.doc, docx, .odt, or text,) double-spaced, with 12-point font. Refrain from adding your name to the work in this document.
5. We will do our best to respond to all submissions within 6 weeks. If you have not heard back from us within that time frame, please feel free to follow up with us.
6. Please submit your work through our online submission manager. We do not accept submissions via email.
